The Cayman Islands Government recently announced that, as of March 22, 2021, the quarantine requirements for arriving travellers will be reduced from 14 days to 10 days, but only for those who have been fully vaccinated more than two weeks prior to travel.
The following conditions also apply for travellers to qualify for the reduced quarantine time:
• Must receive a negative PCR test within 72 hours of travel
• Must receive a negative PCR upon arrival in Cayman
• All persons in the traveller's quarantine group must have received a full vaccination course against COVID-19, or all persons in the group will have to quarantine for 14 days.
Upon completion of the quarantine period, travellers will still have to test negative for COVID-19 before being released from quarantine.
Cayman Airways reminds passengers that it is their responsibility to ensure that they research and secure all travel-related documents required by any government for entry into their country, especially during this pandemic. Passengers who do not meet all requirements, will not be able to travel.
