Water Authority – Cayman wishes to advise the motoring public that, from 6:00am to 3:00pm on Sunday 03 October 2021, the section of Shamrock Rd between Hirst Rd and the east entrance to Homestead Cres will be closed in order to facilitate the installation of new water supply infrastructure in the area.
At the intersection of Shamrock Rd and Hirst Rd, East-bound traffic will be diverted to Pedro Castle Rd and Homestead Cres.
At the intersection of Shamrock Rd and Homestead Cres, West bound traffic will be diverted along Homestead Cres.
During this time, local access only to businesses and residences in the area will be available and flagmen will be on hand to direct local access traffic.
Traffic signs will be posted in the general vicinity and all motorists are asked to drive with caution to ensure their own safety as well as that of the Water Authority staff.
The Water Authority appreciates the patience and understanding of its valuable customers as it upgrades its water infrastructure to better serve you, and apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
