On Sunday 26th June 2022, Members of West Bay Community and the resident of The Hope For Today Foundation along with Minister Andre Ebanks and MP Kathy Wilks Ebanks, participated in cleanup event
The group started from the WB Police Station cleaning WB Central one piece of trash at a time. Together they were able to reach a target of approx.100 bags of trash.
They were extremely grateful for the assistance through D.E.H for the collection of the bags and it was an eye opener to see the amount of garbage still being dropped on our roadside.
The group encourages the community to take better care of our planet and their district. Their next target is the removal of trash from our roadside in West Bay South and invite the community to come and join them for the next project on Sunday October 16th, 2022.
