A 32-year-old man of West Bay was charged with Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm following an incident that took place on Thursday 5 August, where an altercation between two men occurred at a residence off Crewe Road in George Town.
During the incident, one of the men stabbed the other several times causing him serious injuries. The injured party was transported to the hospital by the ambulance where he was treated and later released.
The second man was arrested by the police at the residence and was kept in custody prior to being charged. He attended court on Monday 9 August, where he was bailed to return on 23 August.
