A 45-year-old-woman of George Town was arrested and charged on Monday for the offence of Conspiracy to Defraud and Converting Criminal Property. These charges are in relation to the CONCACAF investigation that was launched in 2014.
She was bailed to attend court on 7 January, 2020. The woman is a civilian employee with the RCIPS since 2016. She has been placed on required leave as of Friday 29 November.
On Tuesday, a man, age 49 of George Town, was been charged with one count of Conspiracy to Defraud and one count of Converting Criminal Property. These charges are also in relation to the CONCACAF investigation that was launched in 2014.
The man has been bailed to appear in court on 7 January, 2020.
