The Workforce Opportunities and Residency Cayman (WORC) is proud to announce the graduation of 35 WORC-sponsored clients who successfully completed a series of accredited courses at Cayman Career Academy (CCA) from January to October 2024. The ceremony took place on Thursday, 5 December 2024, at the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort.
These graduates have earned qualifications that position them to pursue career opportunities in various health and beauty fields both locally and internationally. The courses were accredited by two internationally recognised bodies: CIDESCO and EDUQUAL.
Among the graduating cohort, there were 38 awards presented, as three individuals earned multiple qualifications. Certifications achieved include:
• EDUQUAL Certificate in Barbering
• CIDESCO Manual Facial Certificate
• EDUQUAL Award in Basic and Swedish Massage
• EDUQUAL Award in Manicure and Pedicure
• EDUQUAL Award in Professional Geriatric Care
• EDUQUAL Award in Waxing (Facial, Body, and Specialised)
WORC continues to work closely with private-sector partners to ensure training programmes align with industry needs and provide a pathway for Caymanians to secure meaningful employment. This collaboration demonstrates WORC’s commitment to fostering an inclusive, skilled workforce that meets the demands of the evolving job market.
