RCIPS Arrests Three Recidivist Offenders in Relation to Recent Burglaries, Two Charged

At about 11:45PM yesterday, 28 May, the Cayman Island Coast Guard Operations and Rescue Coordination Centre received a report of a boat in distress in the waters off a resort in East End. It was reported that the vessel had run onto the reef with two men on board and no injuries reported.
At around 1:30PM today , police responded to a report of shots fired in the vicinity of North Side Road, North Side.
Just before midnight, Monday 20 May, officers were patrolling the West Bay Road area when they came across an injured man lying on the ground in the parking lot of Trafalgar Plaza located near the Public Beach, West Bay.

Police have now confirmed the identity of the deceased victims in the fatal collision which took place on Monday 13 May along Shamrock Road in George Town. They are 41-year-old Shakara Stewart, 30-year-old Junior Whittaker and 53-year-old Vinroy Grant.
