At around 11:20AM on Tuesday, 20 July, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision on Bodden Town Road, in the vicinity of Governor Russell Beach, involving a dump truck and a silver Toyota Noah.
A complainant alleged that he was grabbed by the throat, thrown onto a bed in his home and handcuffed by Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) officers who were in the process of executing a search warrant.

Despite eight arrests for the shootings that took place at Martin Drive and Vic’s Bar on Seymour Road in recent weeks, the RCIPS are still appealing for witnesses to come forward and give clear and concise evidence as to what they saw and then be prepared to give that evidence in a court of law.
