The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of the Cayman Islands proudly hosted its 2nd Annual National Interfaith Symposium on Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at the George Town Hall. With the theme “How to Establish World Peace,” the symposium aimed to foster dialogue and understanding among different faith groups.

Representatives from four prominent faith traditions, including Hinduism, Christianity, Sikhism, and Islam, gathered to discuss the pressing issue of global polarization and explore the potential solutions offered by their respective faiths.

Throughout the event, participants engaged in thoughtful discussions, sharing insights and perspectives on fostering harmony and peace in an increasingly divided world. Each faith group had the opportunity to articulate the unique contributions and teachings of their traditions towards the attainment of global peace.

The symposium provided a valuable platform for individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together, build bridges, and cultivate meaningful friendships. Attendees embraced the opportunity to learn about each other’s beliefs and practices, promoting mutual respect and understanding.

The program culminated in an interactive Q&A session, where attendees had the chance to pose questions and engage in further dialogue with the panelists. The session proved to be a lively exchange of ideas, offering attendees a deeper understanding of the issues discussed throughout the day.

Organizers expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic participation and underscored the importance of continued interfaith dialogue and collaboration in promoting peace and harmony within the community and beyond.

The 2nd Annual National Interfaith Symposium served as a testament to the power of unity, compassion, and mutual respect in building a more inclusive and peaceful world.
