On Sunday, the public was notified that although soft curfew conditions resumed at 5 a.m., Monday, 13 April 2020, allowing non-essential workers movement only for essential tasks, a hard curfew condition was been imposed prohibiting all persons from accessing all beaches and the coastline.
All beaches, including the coastline, remained closed from 12.01 a.m. Monday morning to 5am Tuesday, 14 April. There was to be no swimming, snorkeling, fishing, exercising or any activity on the beach or along the coastline during these times.
Private owners with beach access were not allowed beyond the high water mark.
This restriction was been imposed by the Commissioner of Police and was strictly enforced.
