Appolina Bent has gone through the ranks of the Appleby scholarship and Articled Clerk programmes and is now admitted as a Cayman lawyer
Having completed her Articles of Clerkship at Appleby over the past 18 months, Appolina Bent was admitted to the Bar of the Cayman Islands today (Tuesday 20 March 2018), enabling her to officially practice law in the jurisdiction. Appolina has been appointed as an Associate and will be working within the Corporate Practice Group at Appleby.

Appolina started as a summer intern at Appleby in July 2012 and was a recipient of the firm’s legal scholarship that same year. She then attended Keele University in UK, where she maintained a 2:1 grade point average and obtained her LLB. She later graduated with distinction from BPP University in Birmingham for her Legal Practice Course.
Appolina is a member of the Caymanian Bar Association, NextGen Cayman Islands chapter and 100+ Women in Finance.
