Big Things Happening at Little Havana

Little Havana, along the West Bay Road has become one the hippest night spots in Grand Cayman for those who enjoy LIVE music.

The evening features one of Cayman’s top Jazz ensembles (Dennis and Friends), which includes musicians from the Cayman Music School playing contemporary arrangements to an increasingly enthusiastic and ever-expanding audience.

For folks ‘in the know’, this is the place to be on a Wednesday night.

Some of Cayman’s most well known Musicians, along with eager patrons converge on the venue once the sun sets for what is now becoming one of the trendiest things to do on the popular Seven Mile ‘Strip’.

“We have been doing this night now for about two months and it’s been growing from strength to strength,” noted Little Havana Proprietor, Mr. Roper, who added that there also plans in the works for a monthly soca-fest at the establishment that would start at 1pm on Saturdays.

“People can sit insider or outside enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the garden and charm of the Caribbean, whilst enjoying the music,” he noted.

Happy Hour at the establishment is an all day affair on Wednesdays and the same every other day from 3pm to 7pm, with specials on beer and ‘well’ liquor.

“Persons can come and have lunch, whilst watching our in-house cigar roller as well,” said Mr. Roper.

He added that currently, smoking is only permitted outside but the business would soon be installing extractors so that patrons could enjoy premium cigars indoors.

To add to an already robust set of activities during the week, Sundays are also becoming a bit hit at Little Havana, with brunch now being served.

“It’s like Beach Club used to be,” explained the club’s owner, who added that the Sunday brunch, “Is really on another level.”

Little Havana is open from 12 pm till closing.
