RULING PLP RETAINS POWER IN BERMUDA
The ruling Progressive Labour Party(PLP) of Premier David Burt has retained power in Bermuda's general election.
The PLP won 25 of the 36 seats with the other 11 going to the opposition One Bermuda Alliance (OBA).
The other contenders; the Free Democratic Movement, the Emperial Group and 26 independents, failed to win a seat among them.
A total of 109 candidates contested the election on Tuesday February 18th.
