CAL adjusts business operations in response to Tropical Storm warning

Following the Cayman Islands Government placing the Cayman Islands under a Tropical Storm Warning and the Cayman Islands Airports Authority (CIAA) closing the Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM) on Grand Cayman from Monday evening September 23, 2024, as well as the Charles Kirkconnell International Airport (CYB) on Cayman Brac, Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) has canceled all domestic and international flights for Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

However, it is anticipated that a single inbound flight from Havana to Grand Cayman, KX835, late on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, weather permitting, will be operated with the approval of the Cayman Islands Airports Authority (CIAA).

All other flights will resume once the "all clear" is given by the Cayman Islands Government, and the GCM airport reopens.

Passengers affected by the flight cancellations will be accommodated on flights scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 2024, and will be directly notified regarding the changes.
