Canadian Head Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Visits Cayman

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Cayman Islands hosted Imam Abdul Rashid Anwar from Canada this past week. Imam Anwar has been appointed as Head Missionary of the community in Canada by the community’s worldwide Leader and Caliph Mirza Masroor Ahmad.

His travel to the Island consisted of many meetings with community leaders such as His Excellency, Mr. Martyn Roper, Governor of the Cayman Islands as well as Respected Mr. Derek Byrne, Commissioner of Police.

Furthermore, meetings were held with various Pastors of the Christian Community in which the importance of interfaith dialogue and inter-religious harmony was discussed. Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the Cayman Islands had the privilege of benefitting from his deep knowledge of religion and spirituality.

The Community is very grateful to Cayman for welcoming Imam Anwar with open arms.
