The Cayman Islands Inter-School Athletics Championships 2025, the biggest school track and field event of the year, will take place at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex, featuring over 40 schools and 750 student-athletes.
The event kicks off with preliminary rounds for primary school athletes from March 10-12, leading to the finals of the field events and track heats on March 17-18. The secondary school field event preliminaries will follow from March 19-20, with the grand finale, uniting both the Inter-Primary and Secondary Championships, taking place on Friday, March 21, 2025, alongside an official Opening Ceremony at 8:30 a.m.
The public is invited to attend from March 17-20, with free entry to all events, and the grand final on March 21. Families, friends, and community members can support athletes by attending, cheering, and engaging on social media.
Event Schedule:
• March 17-18: Primary Field Events Finals, Track Heats
• March 19-20: Secondary Field Events Preliminaries, Track Heats
• March 21: Primary & Secondary Field Events Finals and Track Finals
Opening Ceremony:
• March 21: 8:30 a.m. – Speeches by the CIG Officials, competitions start at 9:00 a.m.
