Cayman’s artistic swimmers are building on their recent success at CCCAN - where Madison van Duynhoven and Allie Capasso won a bronze medal, the first ever medal for Cayman Artistic Swimming at CCCAN – and four artistic swimmers are headed to the US Olympic Training Centre in Colorado Springs, CO, 12-19 November for an Artistic Swimming camp.
The athletes – Madison van Duynhoven, Allie Capasso, and mixed duet athletes Azania Osborne and Dylan Lynee – accompanied by Coach Alissa Moberg Kinney, will join over 60 athletes from 25 countries at a training camp sponsored by USA Artistic Swimming and Panam Aquatics. The athletes will learn the new competition rules with pool sessions twice a day and take part in gym training, choreography development, sports psychology and nutrition talks. Coaches for the camp include Bill May (pioneer for male artistic swimmers), Andrea Fuentes – two-time Olympian for Spain and current USA Head Coach.
