Members of CIDOT met with students in Cayman Brac where they connected their passions and interests with career options in tourism
The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism has been continuing its efforts to promote tourism among the youth. This past week members of the CIDOT Product Unit attended schools on Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman to conduct scholarship workshops and attend career fairs. The scholarship workshop gave prospective scholars and their parents an overview of the process and areas covered by the Ministry of Tourism scholarship. The career fairs held at Cayman Prep High School and in the Layman E. Scott Senior High had almost 200 students each attend to learn about the various opportunities within tourism.
