Caymanian-owned media production company Content Studio has been selected as the local production partner for livestreaming football matches on FIFA+, the online entertainment platform that provides free access to live football matches from every corner of the world.
Content Studio has now streamed a pair of Cayman Islands Football Association matches to the FIFA+ platform, including 345 FC’s win over Academy on February 3 and Tigers’ win over Future on February 9.
“It is a dream come true to be selected to partner with an organization like FIFA to help bring Cayman Islands football to the world,” Content Studio owner and operations director Kevin Morales said.
FIFA launched FIFA+ in 2022 with the aim of providing live football matches, interactive games, news, tournament information and other video content delivering truly global storytelling around the men’s and women’s game. FIFA is the first sports federation ever to offer such an extensive streaming and content experience to its fans. By the end of 2022, FIFA+ streamed the equivalent of 40,000 live games from 100 Member Associations across all six confederations, including 11,000 women’s matches.
Fans in the Cayman Islands are encouraged to see which matches will be streamed live every week by checking FIFA+ as well as the CIFA social media pages.
