Travellers from Detroit can look now forward to a warm weather getaway to the Cayman Islands this winter with the return of Delta Airlines’ nonstop flights between Detroit Metro Airport and Grand Cayman starting on 20 December 2025. The Detroit service returning is a testament to the growing demand for the Cayman Islands during this period. The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism is working closely with Delta Airlines to promote the route. The weekly Saturday service for this route will run through April 2026.

This route was a beloved connection for travellers prior to the pandemic, and it remained one of the only pre-pandemic routes that hadn’t returned to our destination. Weekly service between Detroit (DTW) and Grand Cayman (GCM) on Delta Airlines will operate from 20 December 2025 and ends on 12 April 2026. Flights are now available to book through delta.com or by contacting a travel professional.
