A short 29 minute flight from Grand Cayman will deliver the third corner of the Cayman paradise namely Little Cayman.
Many visitors have made numerous treks to this small island with its 125 full time residents. Recently, our senior writer, Flynn Bush, stopped by and got the talk on the street from a few tourists.
While vacationing on Little Cayman and Cayman Brac, we sought to get the views of different visitors to the Sister Islands. The question posed was, “Why do you choose to visit the Sister Islands and what is the best aspect of your vacation?” Below are the responses of seven individuals.
George, American visitor to Little Cayman, 54:
“I like the solitude of this island and the friendliness of the people. The diving is great too.”
Greta, Canadian visitor to Little Cayman, 54:
“I chose Little Cayman because I wanted a place to get away from it all. I like lying in a hammock on the beach and reading my book.”
Henry, American visitor to Cayman Brac, 46:
“I came here because of the diving and the fact that it is a much more laid-back atmosphere than Grand Cayman. The locals are always so friendly too.”
Brian, American visitor to Cayman Brac, 51:
“The diving is second-to-none and the people are nice. It really is a special place.”
Frank, American visitor to Cayman Brac, 47:
“I wanted a place where I could dive and relax without a lot of people around. Cayman Brac is that place. I have come here 4 times and never been disappointed.”
Jean, American visitor to Little Cayman, 56:
“I have been coming here for about 8 years now and it’s because of the peace and quiet. It de-stresses you the moment you step off the plane.”
Kevin, Canadian visitor to Little Cayman, 62:
“I love all three islands, but this one is my favorite. It is paradise with its peaceful atmosphere.”
