We are pleased to see and hear that candidates in the upcoming election are taking our advice and making their announcements during the month of January.
The 2025 election will be the single most important election in the Cayman Islands in the last 40 years or during our tenure in the Cayman Islands.
We must get this election right. It takes a village to succeed and by this we mean, candidates, media, electors or voters, residents and even visitors to our islands.
The Cayman Islands deserves a government that the electors have voted for and for those of us who have been exposed to a lifetime of election campaigns, we are aware of the influences that come from various sources, for example, family, friends, employers, investors and of course observers.
To run the election race is no easy feat, and candidates with good intentions, need a good strategy to succeed.
During the next few weeks, the Caymanian Times, will be looking into election campaign strategies with inputs from knowledgeable experts.
The race is not for the swift but for those who will endure. Your reputation is crucial to gain trust and confidence from the electors. The modern world of campaigns with the introduction of social media opens windows to candidates personal lives and so taking a peek in your closet is recommended as you stand on the stage of Public Service
