Gazette Notice: Altair Asia Investments Limited

CAUSE NO. FSD 274 OF 2020 (NSJ)

 

IN THE MATTER OF SECTION 92 OF THE COMPANIES LAW (2020 REVISION)

AND IN THE MATTER OF ALTAIR ASIA INVESTMENTS LIMITED

 

TAKE NOTICE that a petition for an order that ALTAIR ASIA INVESTMENTS LIMITED whose registered office is situated at Intertrust Corporate Services (Cayman) Limited, 190 Elgin Avenue, George Town, Grand Cayman KY1-9005, Cayman Islands (the "Company") be put into liquidation and wound up in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Law has been presented to the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands.

The petition was presented by SAFE CASTLE LIMITED, Coastal Building, Wickhams Cay II, PO Box 2221, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Copies of the petition and supporting affidavits may be obtained free of charge from the petitioner's attorneys, Ogier, 89 Nexus Way, Camana Bay, Grand Cayman KY1-9009, Cayman Islands (contact Marc Kish / Marie Skelly; telephone: +1 345 815 1790 / +1 345 815 1896).

The petition seeks an order that Mr Simon Richard Conway of PwC Corporate Finance & Recovery (Cayman) Limited, PO Box 258, 18 Forum Lane, Camana Bay, Grand Cayman, KY1 1104 Cayman Islands (telephone: +1 345 938 8685) and Mr Man Chun (Christopher) So and Mr Peter James Greaves of PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited, 20/F Prince's Building, Central, Hong Kong be appointed as joint official liquidators of the Company.

 

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the hearing of the petition will take place on 7 December 2020 at the Law Courts, George Town, Grand Cayman at 9:00am. Any creditor or shareholder of the Company may be heard on the questions of whether or not a winding up order should be made and, if a winding up order is made, who should be appointed as official liquidator(s) of the Company. Any person intending to appear and be heard on the petition shall give at least 3 days' notice to the petitioner's attorneys. Any creditor or shareholder who opposes the appointment of Mr Simon Conway, Mr Christopher So and Mr Peter Greaves must nominate an alternative qualified insolvency practitioner(s) who consents to act and has sworn an affidavit complying with the requirements of the Companies Winding Up Rules, Order 3, rule 4.
