A group of Grade 6 students from Grace Christian Academy recently embarked on a five-day adventure of a lifetime to NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre and Legoland Florida. Led by their class teacher, Mrs. Deepali Mutneja, the students were able to delve into the fascinating world of space exploration and learn about the history and science behind NASA’s achievements. The trip was a great opportunity for the students to broaden their horizons and gain a new appreciation for the world around them.

During their visit to the Kennedy Space Centre, the students were able to experience the science of space firsthand through interactive exhibits, shows, and simulations. They also took a tour of the facility, which included visits to the Space Shuttle Atlantis, the Apollo/Saturn V Centre, and the Astronaut Hall of Fame. The highlight of their trip was undoubtedly the chance to meet with an astronaut and learn about the challenges of space exploration from someone who had experienced it firsthand.

After their time at the Space Centre, the students headed to Legoland Florida, where they explored the theme park’s many attractions and learned about the history of the Lego company. They were also given the opportunity to build their own Lego creations and take part in a variety of activities and events at the park.

In addition to learning and having fun, the students were also able to bond with their classmates, which is an important part of the educational experience. Mrs. Mutneja was thrilled with the success of the trip and is already planning similar experiences for her students in the future.

Overall, the trip was a fantastic learning opportunity for the students, who returned home with a wealth of knowledge about space and science. They also gained a newfound appreciation for the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving great things. It’s clear that this adventure of a lifetime will be remembered by the students for years to come.
