Sunwing Airlines plane landing at his first seasonal direct flight between Toronto and Grand Cayman
Canada-based Sunwing Airlines operated its first seasonal direct flight between Toronto and Grand Cayman, on 2 February 2020.
Community members and government officials gathered for a water cannon celebration of the arrival of Sunwing’s 737 from Toronto (YYZ) at the Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM).
Residents of Southern Ontario can now fly direct to the Cayman Islands this winter with Sunwing Airlines. Flights are operated on Sundays from 2 February 2020 until 3 May 2020, inclusive. Flight WG742 with service from YYZ to GCM will depart at 6:15 am and arrive at 10:10 am. Flight WG743 with service from GCM to YYZ will depart at 11:15 am and arrive at 3:20 pm.
Sunwing Airlines is part of the largest integrated tour and travel company in North America and currently operates flights to other parts of the region such as Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Sint Maarten, St Vincent & the Grenadines and St Lucia.
Grand Cayman’s Margaritaville Beach Resort is currently being featured by the airlines as an accommodation option for travelers.
