BOOSTS LIVER HEALTH - Studies have shown that the tea promotes liver health, while at the same time keeps it healthy. One study with 19 overweight people found that taking the extract for 12 weeks increased liver steatosis, a condition characterized by accumulation of fat in the liver. This can lead to liver failure.
