Higgs & Johnson Real Estate Group an ‘Excellent Team’ according to Chambers Global

Higgs & Johnson has been ranked in the Cayman Islands in the area of Real Estate by Chambers and Partners in its annual publication Chambers Global (2020) with clients praising their ‘first-class turnaround time.’ The Guide, who identifies the best law firms globally, noted that the firm is a ‘well-known group offering advice to private clients, developers and financial institutions on complex real estate transactions and acquisitions.’ Lauded as being ‘extremely dependable’ the real estate team is also highlighted by commentators for ‘always protecting their clients and paying stellar attention to fine detail.’

Noted for her ‘really invaluable and readily available expertise’, Country Managing Partner Gina M. Berry is ranked by the Guide with sources stating that her ‘her knowledge and approach to clients is perfect.’ She is highly experienced in the areas of conveyancing, commercial real estate and immigration and clients praise her willingness to ‘take the time to explain the nuances of all legal matters.’

Partner, John Harris, one of the firm’s insolvency specialists, was also cited by the Guide as a Recognised Practitioner. He specialises in commercial litigation with an emphasis on financial services, investment funds, insolvency and trusts disputes.
