Integra Healthcare is proud to be the title sponsor of the “Lemonade Day” event, held in partnership with DMS Broadcasting on Saturday, 17 August 2024. The event was a resounding success, providing over 21 local children with an engaging and educational experience that equipped them with the skills and knowledge to start, own, and operate their very own lemonade stands. This initiative played a significant role in fostering financial literacy, self-reliance, and a passion for entrepreneurship among the youth in our community.
Lemonade Day was much more than just a fun activity. It served as an experiential learning program, offering children hands-on experience in the joys and challenges of entrepreneurship. Kids learned the essentials of running a business, from creating a budget and setting financial goals to marketing their product and managing customer service. Through this process, children gained invaluable life skills, built self-confidence, and developed a sense of responsibility and leadership that will benefit them in their future endeavors. Lemonade Day is open to all children in the community, and participation is free.
