International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame Announces Induction Ceremony on September 28, 2024

The Board of Directors of the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame (ISDHF) and the Cayman Islands Ministry and Department of Tourism are pleased to announce the 2024 Induction Ceremony planned for Saturday, September 28, 2024, on Grand Cayman at the Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman. The class of 2024 includes four international inductees along with two local honourees. Details surrounding the ceremony and Induction Week will be announced soon including a new addition to the event calendar, “Evening at the Museum”, a cocktail party on Thursday, September 26 to be held at the ISDHF Museum at Pedro St. James.

“We look forward to adding scuba diving pioneers to our over 140 ISDHF inductees from around the globe. Part of this celebration also includes honoring local diving professionals that have made significant contributions to the Cayman Islands’ diving and watersports industry. The ceremony is an important event and I look forward to welcoming international and local attendees to join us in Grand Cayman this fall,” said Hon. Kenneth Bryan, Minister for Tourism and Ports.

ISDHF Executive Director William Cline will oversee the events in September and comments, “The ISDHF board has chosen such worthy inductees this year. Four different countries will be represented including John Thet from Singapore, Enric Salas from Spain, Claudio Guardabassi from Brazil and Margo Peyton from the USA. We’ve got an exciting Induction Week planned to honor our excellent inductees, including Dan Orr, a 2014 ISDHF Inductee and renowned figure in the industry, as the keynote speaker for the event. I hope many will attend the events planned in September.”

Tickets for the 2024 ISDHF Induction Ceremony are now available online at eventpro.ky. Early bird ticket prices of KYD $100 are available until Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

The International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame (ISDHF) was founded in 2000 by the Ministry of Tourism of the Cayman Islands.
