Caymanian Joshua Bernard is to attend a prestigious event in Los Angeles organized for some of the top financial advisors in the world.
The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) annual meeting will be held from 24th-27th June when more than 13,000 financial advisors from across the globe will come together to listen to inspiring speakers, learn insights from some of the best minds in the business and share practices with peers to help attain new levels of success.
Mr. Bernard, a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) with British Caymanian Insurance Agencies Limited (BritCay) and Colonial Life Assurance Cayman Islands, has qualified for the event for six consecutive years putting him in the top one percent of financial planners worldwide. Of those years he has qualified twice as Top of the Table (TOT), six times achieved the qualification of standard MDRT membership, and three times Court of the Table (COT), which is three times the qualifications of standard MDRT membership.
BritCay General Manager John Cameron congratulated Mr. Bernard saying, “Joshua continues to raise the bar, returning as a Top of the Table honoree each year. He started as a qualifying member in 2013 but surpassed this level in 2016 and has maintained this status since then.
“This prestigious global recognition for a life insurance and investment advisor is an outstanding achievement and we are proud to call Joshua a member of our team. He has worked with us for more than ten years and during that time his focus has been to ensure his clients lay the groundwork for increasing success that will be passed down for generations to come.
“With all said and done Joshua’s achievements, hard work and dedication makes him a remarkable individual who has made not only his employer proud but the Cayman Islands on a whole. In today’s world, having a financial advisor you can trust to keep you abreast of changes in financial matters is paramount to your security and peace of mind.”
Mr. Bernard has 11 years experience in the financial services industry assisting high-net-worth clients to create, conserve and distribute wealth. He has accomplished notable achievements such as closing on one of the highest premium plans in Cayman with a $96,000 annual premium.
Beyond that, his achievements and awards include top premium producer at British Caymanian Insurance from 2013 to present, and Vice President of the Cayman Islands Association of Financial Advisors.
“I believe the most important reason for having life insurance is to ensure that people are prepared for the unexpected,” Mr. Bernard commented. “It’s always a pleasure to know that I can provide peace of mind for both families and business clients. I enjoy what I do for my community.”
