Only 15 derelict vehicles per day will be now accepted at the George Town Landfill to be scrapped.
Persons wishing to get rid of their old and disused vehicles are also advised of the new schedule which is Monday to Friday between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm.
The Department of Environmental Health is encouraging persons to call the landfill on 949-3719 to confirm when their vehicle can be accepted, and if required to book a slot for a particular day.
