LEMONADE TIME

There’s no debating that an ice-cold drink of lemonade is tantalizingly refreshing. Its components pack a great deal of health benefits, and now is as good a time to indulge in some. This drink is enjoyed mostly in the summer to quench as it were the intense heat. At other times it is consumed by those who have the common cold. Now that the COVID 19 has all but caused everyone to be shuttered in, there’s nothing more refreshing than LEMONADE. Here are some reasons to indulge in this super drink:

HYDRATION - Water is extremely important to our body. Most of do not like it stand alone. So, consuming lemonade throughout the day ensures enough water to stay hydrated.

Vitamin C - Many health experts have recommended consuming a lot of lemon juice during these times. We get it from the lemonade that is packed with vitamin C, crucial for immunity. Vitamin C also protects against the damaging free radicals. Vitamin C is also known to help reduce cardiovascular disease, stroke and lowers blood pressure.

WEIGHT LOSS - The polyphenol antioxidants in the lemons from this delicious drink have been shown to have a positive effect on weight loss. Most weight loss potions are made up primarily of lemon juice. Ongoing research is unearthing the strong effect in respect of weight loss.

AIDS DIGESTION - Most people use the lemon to have as an early morning water detoxifying drink. Lemonade helps to reduce constipation. Ayurvedic medicine claims that the lemon in this drink, its sour taste helps stimulate your, “agni”. It is believed that a strong, “agni”, jump starts your digestive system, so that you food is better digested.
