The Cayman Islands Postal Service (CIPS) advises the public that they are now accepting mail destined for Canada.
Following news that the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) has ordered employees to return to work and postal operations to resume, Canada Post has announced they will start accepting all international mail as of today, Monday, 23 December 2024.
However, CIPS advises customers to expect delivery delays as significant backlogs caused by the disruption are addressed and operations are stabilized. Customers are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow for the extended delivery time.
