The Ministry of Health & Wellness would like to advise the community that a fabricated “news report” currently circulating via email, What’s App and social media, stating that the Cayman Islands has two confirmed cases of Mpox is fake and was not issued by the Ministry of Health & Wellness.
Hon. Sabrina Turner, Minister for Health & Wellness, and Chief Nursing Officer, Felicia McLean, continue to encourage the community to tune in to official channels in an effort to ensure access to accurate and credible information and updates.
