Miss Cayman Universe Chloe Powery-Doxey to be crowned

The Miss Universe Cayman Islands organisation would like to announce the Official Crowning of Miss Chloe Powery-Doxey as our Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2022.  An evening of celebration under the stars is planned at The National Gallery on Friday, April 28. 2023 and will be hosted by Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2018 and 2020, Caitlin Tyson and Mariah Tibbetts.

Since placing as 1st runner up in the pageant last year, Chloe outstandingly represented the Cayman Islands in the 2022 Miss Universe Pageant in New Orleans in December. Through all of the challenges and uncertainty, she has continued to be steadfast and poised and has made us proud and we are elated that the time has finally come to crown her our Queen.

Also in store for the evening will be the rebranding of the MUCI logo and formal introduction of newly appointed Chairperson Catherine Tyson-Sewell and her committee members. “The plan going forward is to take the organisation to another level and with Tyson-Sewell at the wheel, it plans to be just that”, said New National Director.  I am so happy to have Catherine on board and confident in her skills and passion for pageantry that I know the OPERATIONS ARE in great hands”. The general public is invited to attend the crowning ceremony and for those interested in attending are encouraged to get their tickets online at eventpro.ky or reaching out via the MUCI website. Tickets are $25 and will also be sold at the gate but space is limited.

The Miss Cayman Islands Universe Committee wishes to especially thank the Cayman Islands Government Ministry of Tourism and Port for their continued support of The Miss Universe Cayman Islands pageant and we look forward to the support for our new queen and the royal reception that she deserves!
