NINE LAWYERS FROM APPLEBY CAYMAN COMMENDED IN 2019 IFLR1000 GUIDE

Nine lawyers from our Appleby Cayman team have received individual recognition in this year’s IFLR1000 Guide.

Managing Partner Bryan Hunter and Partner Benjamin Woolf have been rated as ‘Highly Regarded’ and Partner Simon Raftopoulos has been recognised as a ‘Market Leader’. The ‘Highly Regarded’ rating recognises those who are highly regarded by their peers, have positive client feedback and possess a strong transactional record, whilst the ‘Market Leader’ rating recognises lawyers who are true leaders in their field and who have a track record of high profile and innovative deals. Partner Jacob MacAdam was also rated as a ‘Notable Practitioner’, in recognition of him leading numerous significant deals featured in the IFLR1000 Deal Data.

In addition Partners’ Caroline Barton, David Bulley, Liesl Richter and Anna-Lise Wisdom together with Counsel, Christian Victory were all rated as ‘Rising Stars’. The rating recognises those who are viewed as ‘ones to watch’ and are building their reputations in the market.

The IFLR1000 is the guide to the world’s leading financial law firms. The rankings year-on-year are compiled by a team of dedicated specialist legal journalists and is the only publication of its kind to focus on the leading law firms for corporate finance worldwide.

Cayman Managing Partner Bryan Hunter Commented, ‘The number of colleagues recognised in this year’s IFLR1000 guide is a significant achievement and reflects the capabilities of our highly experienced Cayman team. Recognition from IFLR1000 further supports the team’s reputation as a leading provider of legal services in the corporate finance space.’
