Nova Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency in the Cayman Islands, is proud to announce a significant milestone: placing over 500 talented Caymanian candidates into various roles across the local workforce.

Since its inception in 2017, Nova has connected local job seekers with meaningful employment that aligns with their long-term career goals. Nova Recruitment’s mission is to connect Cayman Islands job seekers with meaningful careers. The company focuses on professional services positions, including administrative and financial services support roles, serving as a bridge between local talent and employment opportunities.

“We are proud to announce Nova’s milestone of over 500 Caymanian candidates placed in roles within the local workforce. Over the last seven years, we built Nova Recruitment as an agency of choice for Caymanians to rely on (candidates and clients alike). It is exciting to see our statistics reflect that mission and that we are now already well on our way to celebrating 600 Caymanian placements by the end of 2024” shares Ambrose Guilfoyle, co-founder/Recruitment Consultant of Nova Recruitment.

In reviewing the numbers so far for 2024, 92% of Nova Recruitment’s placements were Caymanians; only one position the team has placed has required a work permit, which was for a niche role requiring a hyper-specific skillset where no local talent was identified to fit the needs of the hiring manager at that time. The predominant areas Nova has placed talent in so far in 2024 is within non-qualified accounting and financial support positions, followed closely by compliance. Nova Recruitment is not just focused on financial services jobs however, they have clients in several sectors, including human resources, general administration, insurance, marketing, and property management.

Louise Reed, co-founder/Managing Director of Nova Recruitment, continues, “local opportunities are not only about jobs; they are about building and maintaining a community while empowering the local workforce to shape the future of the Cayman Islands.”

The Nova team have always had this in mind and went beyond the services they could offer as just a recruitment agency with the founding of the registered non-profit, Connect By Nova, in 2020 which focuses on providing career readiness and advancement support for Caymanians of all ages.
