Just after 10:10AM yesterday, 4 September, police were dispatched to a report of a robbery that took place at a gas station, located on Walkers Road in the vicinity of Coemer Drive, George Town.
It was reported that an employee exited the gas station store and was approached by a man who was believed to be in possession of a knife. The man demanded money and the employee attempted to resist, however the man managed to steal a quantity of cash and made off on foot in the direction of Coemer Drive.
Detectives are seeking the assistance of the public to gather information regarding this incident. Witnesses are being encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
