Just after 7AM, on Thursday, 10 November, police responded to a residence in the Red Bay area, where it was reported that a serious assault has taken place sometime earlier.
It was reported that a juvenile male left home sometime after 1AM and while walking in the Red Bay area, he was approached by a white SUV vehicle. Three juvenile males known to the victim exited the vehicle and assaulted him, causing him serious facial injuries. His injuries were later discovered by a parent who reported the incident to the police.
Two male juveniles have been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH in relation to this incident. They have both been bailed pending further investigation. This incident is currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Unit.
