Just after 3AM on Sunday, 26 September police and other emergency services were dispatched to a report of gun shots being fired off Bankers Road in West Bay.
One man received a single gunshot wound to the leg and another man was otherwise injured. Both men were transported to the hospital by ambulance where they are received treatment. The gunshot victim remains in the hospital, and the second man was discharged.
The incident is being investigated by the police and detectives are encouraging anyone with information to call the Major Incident Room at 649-5430. Anonymous tips can be provided directly to the RCIPS via our Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777, or via our website.
