Shortly after 1:30AM on Sunday, 14 July, officers in Cayman Brac responded to a report of a stabbing at the public beach on South Side West Road. It was reported that a man had been at the location when another man approached him and began behaving aggressively towards him, then stabbed the victim multiple times before leaving the location. EMS attended the location and the victim was transported to the Faith Hospital for treatment for his injuries, which appear to be non-life-threatening. He remains in hospital in stable condition.
Officers later located and arrested a man, age 30, on suspicion of wounding in relation to the incident. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
