Just before 1:20AM on Thursday 1st June, police were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at a restaurant located at on Lawrence Blvd, George Town.
Two persons armed with firearms were reported to have attended the location and demanded cash from the register. The perpetrators made off with a quantity of cash in a vehicle towards West Bay Road. Armed officers conducted searches and a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident was recovered by the police as evidence. Further checks were made; however, the perpetrators were not located.
