Elemer Wright, a prisoner from HMP Northward, was on Saturday, 23 May 2020 transferred to a prison in the United Kingdom under the Colonial Prisoners Removal Act 1884.
The transfer was authorised by the UK and Cayman Islands Governments in the interest of national safety and security.
