The CIBC Realtor of the Year Awards evening at the Kimpton Hotel on 24 November celebrated the companies, and individuals, who have gone above-and-beyond to make Cayman’s real estate industry one of the best in the world.

The awards aim to honor realtors who have made significant contributions to their communities and provided outstanding service to clients. This initiative is part of CIBC  broader effort to support and highlight the achievements of real estate professionals across the Caribbean.

Samuel McField, Head of Personal and Business Banking CIBC Caribbean, said: “As Head of personal banking channels, I’m incredibly proud of how the industry continues to evolve: Driven by innovation, commitment, and the passion of individuals who go above and beyond to deliver outstanding results. This evening is a testament to those who have not only excelled in real estate, but have also set standards of excellence within the industry. Our industry in the Cayman Islands thrives because of individuals who, like you, work tirelessly behind the scenes towards making home ownership dreams a reality, and who help build our communities, one property at a time. Tonight we shed light on those who have demonstrated exceptional skill, integrity, and passion, and are raising the bar for all of us,”

Deepa Boucaud Executive Director of Personal and Business Banking CIBC Caribbean said:

“Tonight we come together to recognise and celebrate your contribution. You are truly at the heart of tonight’s celebrations. We are very lucky to have such a dedicated partner, and we are pleased to see how committed you are to our clients and building a much stronger and dynamic real estate market for all of us here in Cayman. Your dedication to our teams and clients has been nothing short of exceptional. Together, we have been able to help individuals and families find homes and achieve their dreams. Your deep knowledge of the market and your skill to navigate the ever-evolving real estate landscape, your ability to match clients with the right opportunities, and your understanding of their unique needs and budgets have all been very vital in driving the success we’ve experienced this year.”

Pim van der Burg - Chief Commercial Officer - CIBC Caribbean said: “We try to understand the market in detail, and specifically here in Cayman we see great potential and opportunity and we are excited about the future here. That is why we are opening the new advisory centre. The resilience of this market in the midst of global challenges speaks volumes about the opportunities that lie ahead – in a world full of turmoil and turbulence there is no question that we are excited to deepen our roots here. As we look ahead, our vision for the Cayman Islands is clear – to continue to be a trusted financial partner for individuals and businesses alike and we are committed to fostering innovation and development to enhance the client experience, especially for mortgage applicants.
