SMS recently arranged for their Community Outreach Group to collect and donate much needed items to One Dog at a Time (“ODAAT”) in Grand Cayman.
It is important for our not-for-profit to be involved in the Cayman community and as such, we reached out to our club members so that we could provide ODAAT with the items they currently need. We want to instil in our swimmers the importance of responsibility when caring for animals and solidify the values of working together to assist those in need.
The donations were delivered to collection points and we also had contributions made via cash and online payments. Our swimmers were keen to present the items to ODAAT before Christmas 2022 to help with the animals over what is usually a very busy time of year for them. Many of our swim families have also adopted rescue dogs and welcomed them home as part of the family.
