Staycation Special: Get some R & R at Surfer’s Paradise

There is a sweet spot just as South Church Street in South Sound turns the corner from George Town to head East, where the swell in the ocean can sometimes give rise to impressive waves, so a beautiful home turned guest house can only be called one thing in this unique location: Surfer’s Paradise.

This splendid beachfront home offers up to 12 guests a relaxing ‘home-away-from-home’ vibe with rooms upstairs available for rent. On the elevated first floor, staycationers can enjoy their very own kitchen, living room and dining area in one open space. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and balcony with garden views, while the other has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. There’s also a laundry room and a balcony that overlooks the coastline, a covered deck with kitchen facilities, dining area and a spacious casual seating area. For an added bit of luxury there’s a four-person hot tub on the deck and a private pool. Stairs lead to a wide sandy beach, complete with picnic tables, a volleyball court and a walled-in sandy children's play area.

The second floor has three bedrooms and a second laundry room. The master bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathroom with sauna tub and the second bedroom a queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Both have balconies overlooking the coastline. The third bedroom has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom and a partial ocean view.

For those of you looking for a romantic get-away, the house also offers a private one-bedroom suite that is often used as a honeymoon suite. Geared specifically to couples, renters have to be 21 years or older to book this unique retreat for two, which offers a whole host of facilities that are completely separate to the main part of the house. A truly secluded spot in which to enjoy some time alone again.

All guests have access to beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, kayaks, masks and snorkels, a volleyball court and of course, surf boards, and much more besides. The cost of a room is US$400 per night and includes a cleaning fee. All amenities are included, and renting the entire house will cost you US$2,100 per night that includes the cleaning fee. Guests can save 13 per cent when they provide evidence that they are a resident. A CI$15 voucher to Treats is also included, so you can have breakfast at your leisure. There is no minimum number of nights required and viewing of the property is possible and available upon request before committing. Just call Jeremy at 924-8191 or Sharon at 916-9108. Feel free to join them for their fish and fritters and ChiChaRon sale on Saturdays from 3pm to sunset. Seating is available on the beach, bring your cooler and stay for the bonfire until 8pm. Remember to mask-up!
