Simmons, the manufacturer of Beautyrest names new mattress after the Cayman Islands. The Mattress Gallery (TMG) announces the arrival of the Beautyrest Harmony, Cayman Series. TMG is the exclusive importer of this new product which uses over 25 recycled plastic bottles in the manufacturing process of each mattress.
The CEO of Simmons had this to say, “When considering naming for our new Harmony Collection we wanted to focus on highlighting the ocean to tie back to our SEAQUAL story. When looking at things related to the ocean Cayman rose to the top due to the premium and luxurious feel that the island has. This feeling of luxury is what truly resonates with a Beautyrest customer and what makes our beds so special. We felt there would be no better fit than to name our bed after an island synonymous with the same feel as our beds.”
To introduce the mattress to Cayman, TMG is hosting two events: May 6th from 5:30 to 7 pm they will host the Chamber After-Hours Mixer at the Tomlinson Furniture store. Parking will be available in the lot across from HSA catty corner to the store. Complimentary food and drinks will be served, and the Cayman Series mattress will be available for viewing. Then on Saturday, May the 8th there will be a day long launch event. Cookies will be served.
It is estimated that the new Harmony Series mattress will remove some 17 million bottles from the oceans in the next year (supporting document attached). In celebration of this, TMG will be donating a portion of the proceeds from every Cayman Series mattress sold in the month of May to Plastic Free Cayman and the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation.
