VAS, non-profit organisation founded in 1988, will be hosting their 14th annual Christmas Arts & Craft sale at Camana Bay on Saturday December 7th from 10 am to 5 pm. They have allocated space under the Observation Tower where VAS will have their decorative TOY BOXES available to collect unwrapped gifts. NCVO will be selling 2025 calendars and other small items from their thrift shop.

Tents will be spread across the paseo and crescent with local artists displaying one-of-a-kind treasures in a festive atmosphere. You can expect to find; silk painted scarves, Christmas decorations, one off crafts, pottery, acrylics, prints, art cards, scented candles, unique jewellery and so much more.

Chairperson Mr. Ivan Burges comments, “The society is a non-profit organisation who provide opportunities for artists of all levels to develop in the art community. Mr. Burges further adds, “on behalf of the board of directors they are sincerely grateful for the annual sponsorship in-kind from Camana Bay and we look forward to contributing to the island Christmas spirit.”

VAS also collaborated with ‘Market at the Lobby’ which takes place on the 14th of December from 1-4pm at the Bevvy Lobby previously known as Margaritaville. NCVO and VAS will have a booth set up ready to collect unwrapped gifts.

Miss Mary shares, “It’s important the children do not feel left out at this time of the year. It’s amazing what joy a small donation can do. Please come out to one or both of the art markets and donate”.
